The heat like a stuffy blanket that can’t be shorn but is wed to you, I felt it as I exited the sliding doors on upper Madison avenue and lit a cigarette in the awning of our building.
Puffing up to 60th street, I nabbed a cab and began my journey to the lower west side.

exterior lies this 21st century bastion built like something out of Close Encounters of the Cocktail kind…its what drinks should be in space.
After mixing and mingling over polite talk of embitterend imprsonement and education I learned the reason for the party was the false imprisonment of a man who overcame the obstacles of life only to flourish in his own adversity. Much ado about something made me feel better about my own life and gave me hope for my own life…funny thing when you stop and listen to the world around you what you can learn about yourself.
